I have just had my application sent back because there was no name on my Grandmother's birth cert (despite it being sent to me from the Register Office) and they want an original baptismal certificate - we are talking 1894, does anyone have any ideas? Jeez, Thats tough...National Library of Ireland has a collection of baptisms from some many parishes....not sure the process..drop them an email... should be OK, probably just as quick as getting a birth Cert..if they have it...you may hear along the way , that records, were destroyed, fire .flood....
