Re: Referee Form AN MN1 Passport Photo Query

Thanks, just double checking as the form asked to add those details on the back but I guess its for physical requirements. One more question, do my referees need to have non-expired UK passports at the time of my application? The application asks for the PAssport number, but could this be for an exp...

Referee Form AN MN1 Passport Photo Query

Hi, I am in the process of applying for my Naturalisation/Citizenship after getting ILR in January 2023. I have a question about submitting the referee form. Presuming an electronic PDF version is allowed to be submitted: 1. Do the passport photos need to have the referee name, dob and signature on ...

Re: Contents of the Letter from the Employer

As UKVCAS does not allow documents to be submitted more than once, is my only option to get a letter from my employer dated before the submission date, then go to the appointment and have them scan and submit it with a prefix of 'revised' to distingish it?

Re: Contents of the Letter from the Employer

In addition to the above question, I have also signed my partners declaration and 3rd party support form a few days after the application submission date, as evidence was uploaded to UKVCAS later. Is this okay or do I need to provide a new signed form with an earlier date to my application submissio...

Re: Contents of the Letter from the Employer

The checklists are generic at frequently inaccurate. You should be following what's required on the ukvi website, Appendix FM guide documents and the immigration rules. The rules state clearly what the employer letters must state. www.gov.uk/indefinite-leave-to-remain-family/partner-family-visa Und...

Re: Contents of the Letter from the Employer

Ideally but not a deal breaker. You do NOT need P60s for ILR. The requirement is due to people submitting false documents!! The mention of the letter confirming 'genuine payslips' are enclosed is not mentioned on the checklist provided by UKVI, but it does mention a P60 is required. Is their checkl...

Contents of the Letter from the Employer

I have some questions about the contents of the letter for an ILR Set(M) application: 1. If the letter is not addressed 'To Whom It May Concern', is it valid that it is addressed to UKVI at 40 Wellesley Rd, Croydon CR9 2BY ? 2. Does the letter need to mention that the Payslips and P60 are genuine? W...

Re: Dependant on ILR Application Set(M)

1. Under the Application section, it asks me to add additional applicants. Do i need to add my child here even if they are born in the UK and not required a visa? No if child is registered/British citizen 2. Under Finance section, it asks if my partner is currently sponsoring any additional childre...

Re: Dependant on ILR Application Set(M)

I couldnt edit the above post, but a couple more questions: 4. If I complete my application on the 20th of December, how close to this date does the last bank statement or item of correspondance have to be for it to be valid for use? I assume they dont want letters that are dated far away from the d...

Returning BRP after Extension

A couple of questions regarding expired BRP. 1. I've recently had my spouse visa extended but do I still need to return my old expired BRP card or is this only for those that apply for British Citizenship? 2. Has anyone ever reported being fined for not returning their old BRP? 3. Is the address to ...

Re: Spouse Visa Extension Processing Delay

Sad thing is people who applied around August is getting their decision whereas I applied in April and no response whatsoever. This appears to be somewhat true. A lot of the timelines show those who applied around August are getting their decisions after 10-12 weeks. Most of these that were applyin...
