Re: Visiting the UK for Christmas post YMS

Yes thank you that's what I meant! I won't be applying online before hand is more what I was trying to say. Yes my only intention is to go and visit family for the holidays and return in January to apply for my work visa. I just wanted to make sure that I've spent enough time out of the country as I...

Re: Visiting the UK for Christmas post YMS

Thank you so much for your reply, I'm glad everything went well for you! I dont need a visa to visit the UK as I'm canadian and have common wealth status. But I will be sure to bring proof that it's not in my best intentions to stay as I plan to go back to apply for tier 2. I also now have emails wi...

Visiting the UK for Christmas post YMS

Hello everyone! My current situation is that I am planning to spend Christmas in the UK with my husband. I have been home in Canada post Youth Mobility Scheme for 3 months now and want to spend three weeks in the UK with my husband and his family. I have an employer there currently carrying out the ...

Re: November 2017 Restricted COS

I saw a few people who received their rcos after the publication on the gov website last month. Allocation last month took longer than we've been waiting so I wouldn't be too concerned just yet. Rejection emails start about a week after the publication. It's fair to assume they're still passing them...

Restricted CoS urgent allocation information

Hello! After completing the RLMT my company decided to put forward and email HO regarding having my RCoS considered for special consideration to be allocated outside of the allocation time. My company has a heavy work load and only 6 employees without me. I work in software development if its releva...

Re: RCOS REJECTED-Need advice

Yes, and the company has someone else sponsored on the same basis that I'll be working with. Though I believe he needed an unrestricted CoS as he was already in the country- I don't know if that makes any differences.

Re: RCOS REJECTED-Need advice

2136 and the job title is Software developer. They're currently sponsoring someone else on the same basis as well and didn't require RLMT for them.

Re: RCOS REJECTED-Need advice

Sadly my husband is doing a masters degree and isn't currently employed. I heavily researched every option for the marriage visa and we didn't fit any other categories. It really was a disappointment considering how easy it would have been to switch.

Re: RCOS REJECTED-Need advice

Because I didn't meet the income threshold. I will be able to meet it with my new employer and plan to switch onto the spouse visa after 6 months of employment.

RCOS REJECTED-Need advice

Hello everybody, I've come back to Canada after working on Tier 5 to switch onto Tier 2. Today my rcos was rejected on the bases that my company did not fulfil the RLMT. This came as a surprise since I'm on the shortage occupations list, so they've filed an appeal. Just to be safe they also posted t...
