Re: English Language Test for ILR - exempt for Tier 1 (General)?

It was not affirmatively accepted as my ILR was refused for not meeting continuous period of stay. I don't have any documentation to say that they have accepted it. I just checked for Tier 2 (general) guidance which says one does not have English language evidence if one has met it for earlier visa....

English Language Test for ILR - exempt for Tier 1 (General)?

Hello, I was on Tier 1 (General) until Jan-2018 when I switched to Tier 2 (General) which was processed by a solicitor. I wanted to give English language evidence for Tier 2 (General) application but I was told that it was not required. In fact Tier 2 application has a line saying "You do not need t...

Re: Difficulty to get PSC appointment for ILR

I cannot see the London Victoria option so I think it was a system defect.

Re: Absence letter from previous employeer

Is employer supposed to know where does employee go on vacation? I think employer can only vouch that the employee was on vacation but cannot confirm where did he or she go to. Am I right?

Re: Difficulty to get PSC appointment for ILR

I agree but it is still showing me London Victoria as an option.
I have filled Set (O) form but it is still showing me that option. I hope I have not anything wrong and it is just system defect.

Re: Difficulty to get PSC appointment for ILR

I was able to book an appointment at Glasgow. I tried it at 5:50 am this morning.

When I trying to reschedule it, I am now shown London Victoria as an option as well. As far as I recall, I was not shown London Victoria option.

Re: Difficulty to get PSC appointment for ILR

I am also facing the same issue. I have been trying since last 7 days and at multiple times. I agree that there seems to be some IT related issue. At least they should show the appointment for the every 45th day as those must be released everyday. Please share tips if anyone is successful in finding...

No premium service appointments available for ILR available

Hello, I have been trying to get premium service appointment for ILR for about last 7 days but unable to find any at any of the centres. I have tried it at midnight, 6 am, 9 am, noon and as and when I can but no luck. Well I was shown many appointments at the Cardiff centre once but unfortunately my...

Re: TIer 1 General to ILR - execessive absences - Chances of discretion?

I think this was my id but unfortunately I have forgotten the password as well as to the email account to which it was linked to which I should be to retrieve or reset but it was easier to create a new one. I did not know that it was banned. While I have not misused the double id, I am sure there mu...

TIer 1 General to ILR - execessive absences - Chances of discretion?

Hello, I have been in the UK on Tier 1 General since Aug-2010 but had to go away for 16 months to return on Nov-2013. I had gone away for my wife's medical treatment. My tier 1 is valid until Mar-2018. I took a chance to apply for ILR in 2016 on discretionary basis but it was refused as the HO did n...
