Re: Continuous Residence calc for dependants

Thanks Zimba, much appreciate the support.

It just I couldn't find a reference for the fact that PBS dependants do not have absence limit before 2018.

Declare Rejected visa - ILR Application

Hi all, I'm filling the ILR application and came across this question regarding declaring rejected visas. I've applied to a Tier 4 visa long time ago and it was rejected, however I applied for Admin review and it was accepted, does this need to be declared as a rejected visa or is it irrelevant? Tha...

Re: Multiple salary increase - risk to ILR?

Thanks for your reply. My worry is that if I don't take the promotion, the officer will find that my current salary is 2k short of the one I applied for and it might trigger a flag and making the process unnecessary complex. If I take the promotion I'm guessing it wouldn't trigger the unnecessary fl...

Multiple salary increase - risk to ILR?

Hi all, I got my tier 2 visa late 2017 with a salary above the SOC experience limit. A year and half later I agreed with the business a salary cut due to the business making loss, I still was higher than the SOC experienced rate. 6 months later I've had a 20% pay rise as I took on more duties. Anoth...

COS Expird!

Hi everyone I've applied for a Tier 2 visa in Nov 2017 and I've been doing this job since then. I just received a call from HR informing me of an issue that they faced whilst trying to update my info on the SMS, where they found that my COS was expired in Jan 2018!!! I'm not sure what that means, ne...

ILR on Tier 2 - change of salary not reported

Hi, I'm currently on Tier 2 and about to apply for my ILR in a year. My company was facing some difficulties and I was put at risk of redundancy, long story short I've agreed a settlement that includes lowering my salary from 50K to 40K. They've re-issued me a contract with the new salary but with t...

Re: Changing role for a different company within the same group

Hi Frontier, I just asked HR and they had no clue, they thought as all the brands are managed through the same payroll and under the same group then they don't need to do anything. Can you please direct me towards a document/page that explains this situation? The Sponsor licence can cover off all th...

Changing role for a different company within the same group

Hello, I work for a corporate which has different brands within, each brand has its own plant and head quarter however they all are managed through the group. There's only one company that does the sponsoring, which is the one I worked for. Now I've been offered to move to a similar role but with an...

A tier 2 depends can do any work except Dr or dentist in training.

However make sure all tax affairs are in order.

Also note many of these types of "online do tasks and get paid" jobs can be scams!
Thanks CR, would this include making money through youtube as well?

Tier 2 Dependant - Working Online

Hi,

My wife is a tier 2 dependant, and she wants to work from home through online websites that asks you to do a certain task and pays you for it. Will this be legal or is it going to be considered as self-employment?

Thanks

Hi, My sponsor is A rated and certified maintenance in RCoS assigned to me. While applying for my partner online for T2 Visa (we are applying together), there is a question, 'Which area of the maintenance requirement are you applying under' and has following 2 options: 1. own/main applicant funds 2...

Thank you for your reply my dear friend.

What about the accommodation? Should I be living in a house with 3 bedrooms or is a two bedroom flat OK? I have a husband and two kids, one son and daughter.
it doesn't matter, they don't check.

T2 General - Dependant Maintenance

Hi all, I have recently had my T2G change of employer with an A-rated sponsor and about to apply for my dependants. The sponsor has already ticked the maintenance box on the COS but very reluctant to provide a letter to confirm that "because they haven't done it before!". Question: 1. Do my dependan...

No issue and there's no need to explain your change of employer. The Border Officer will only want to see a valid visa for entry.

Re: ILR Visa Gap

A Dependent visa isn't linked to the Sponsor, only your visa is. Your wife's visa will continue to be valid until the expiry date. As added re-assurance this earlier post from Frontier Mole confirms this: The dependants first grant of leave will be in line with the main applicants leave. That leave...
