Re: Priority postal Tier 2 got delayed

Hi, I applied for extension on Monday 11/12/17 and received the decision + all my supporting documents today (21/12/17) via UPS. You could contact prioritypostalrequests@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk to request a progress update. Alternatively, you could contact UK visas and immigration about your applicati...

Re: Restricted (RCos) or Unrestricted COS (UCos) for Tier 2 to Tier 2 change of employer/sponsor

I agree, the employer will need to assign an Unrestricted CoS.

You might want to quote some of the information in this document to your sponsor's HR department.

Hope this helps.

Re: Switching employers with Tier 2

I assume you were previously granted leave to remain on a Tier 2 visa. If so: 1) According the link you have provided, "You must have a new certificate of sponsorship and you must meet all other application conditions, but you won’t need to send evidence in support of your application if you’ve sent...

Re: Tier 2 General Shortage Occupation COS- URGENT

Yes, you will select Tier 2(General Shortage Occupation) as the visa type, as the CoS states that job is on the Shortage Occupancy List. It is also best to ensure that the job is actually listed on the shortage occupancy list by referring to the link below: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-ru...

Re: Conflicting Information CoS & Visa Type

Will you be applying from outside the UK? I believe (and feel free to correct me if I am wrong), when applying for a restricted CoS, employers only have 1 of 2 subcategories to choose from:  Tier 2 General (New hires - restricted)  Tier 2 General (Tier 4 dependant switching to Tier 2) Reference: h...

Tier 2 visa refused - should I apply for administrative review and more questions

Hi everyone, I need further advice regarding my visa urgently. I had applied for a Tier 2 (general) change of employment visa and unfortunately, it has been rejected on the grounds of an inappropriate RLMT. They stated that my CoS did not indicate that the sponsor advertised the job on the Universal...
