Re: supporting documents scan

Hi there,

My wife applied for a visitor visa for her sister yesterday via the access UK website and she can't seem to find any way of uploading supporting documentation. Any clues how to get there please?
Thanks!

Re: Do dual EU-UK citizens have rights under EU law?

Hi @E Li Well done for sorting your PR out. I'm not sure why HO is in such a rush (not complaining though). My wife's and step daughter's case was very similar - have a look few posts above. They received PR extremely quick and my daughter's CoA letter arrived AFTER the actual permanent residence ca...

Re: Do dual EU-UK citizens have rights under EU law?

Well done @Salu!!

The BC will be our next step and we've already booked my wife's language exam!

Btw the PR cards arrived today and my step daughter's CoA arrived after the actual decision! Crazy, but overall over the moon.

Re: Do dual EU-UK citizens have rights under EU law?

Hi All, Not sure how many people are still following this topic as it's much quieter here now. However I thought I'll share my experience with our biometric permanent residence cards which we got sorted within a record 2 weeks since submitting biometrics!! Got a red post office notification card thr...

Re: Do dual EU-UK citizens have rights under EU law?

Aren't these valid through the whole transition period which is until the end of 2020 or 21?

Re: Do dual EU-UK citizens have rights under EU law?

Hi, Do you mind me asking what is the purpose of applying for settlement status if we are already dual citizens? My wife and step daughter (non EU citizens) applied for PRC last week with intention of getting BC as soon as that will be approved. I thought having British passports will finish all tha...

Re: Do dual EU-UK citizens have rights under EU law?

Hi All, On a slightly different note, was anyone applying for PRC for a non-EU spouse and a non EU-step child perhaps? I'm dual national (EEA & British) since March 2017. My wife's and stepdaughter's RP expire in couple of months time. I was thinking to apply for both of their PRC's and then for my...

Re: Naturalisation & non-EEA Family Members

Thanks Obie,

That's straight to the point and slightly scary...

We are both working, my step daughter goes to secondary school here, bought a house a year ago.

What would you advise please, sit tight and wait for the court ruling or try to change her visa before it's too late?

Thank you again!

Re: Naturalisation & non-EEA Family Members

Thanks Obie,

My bad I didn't search advice - but it's too late now to say / wonder why etc...

I guess I'll need to get it sorted asap if her right changed significantly.

Thanks

Naturalisation & non-EEA Family Members

Hello, I've been granted British citizenship earlier this year, I am also EEA national. I'm married to a non EEA citizen and wonder how the fact of me being British would affect my Colombian wife. We got married about 4.5 years ago and she came straight after to live with me in UK. At the moment she...

Re: Applying for British citizenship (HELP)

Hi there,

I have applied for my permanent residence AND citizenship within a month from receiving it. What you need to do is to apply for your permanent residence based on 5 year period at least 6 years back. It's fairly simple and straightforward
