Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Thank for sharing. Did you pay extra 35 for document check or it was in normal fee? Thanks Hi, I did not pay anything extra. It was a free appointment with no additional service. They did not check the original of my documents. They only checked the ones I uploaded to make sure they are clear enoug...

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Hi, I attended an appointment on Friday, 15/03/2019 in Glasgow for myself and partner and it was a good one. All the staff right from ground floor to the person that checked my appointment letter and the verification officer were all nice I believe the staff have now understood how the whole process...

Re: B1 english test

You are missing the point and misreading the information. You can ONLY use an old test and expired test IF it has been used in a previous UK immigration application and it was accepted and used to settle in the UK, ie an application for indefinite leave to remain under the UK immigration rules (not...

Re: New Application - Professional Referee Information Required by Form

Hi all, I'm working on the online application to register my children as citizens. A few basic questions about the professional referee: The form is requiring a passport number for both referees, but I'd rather not ask that of their teacher. How have others handled this? Can I just put in 123456789...

Thanks all for your feedback - I have received the BRP letter.

I can only hope the case worker considers these factors while deciding my application so I can only pray and hope for the best.
I wish you the best of luck

Re: Shocked and Disappointed- ILR application at Premium appointment centre refused

As far as I'm concerned the call centre is UKVI since that's the number UKVI has on their website for contacting them so if they give people false information, make sure you use it for your case, they can't just be misleading people like that, it's very bad customer service especially with these he...

Re: PBS Dependent ILR short of days please advise

If I take her issue date then she will be eligible for ILR on 18/06/2018 before 28 days of her 5 years. So, I will apply for her ILR through premium service on 18/06/2018 Yes other requirements: Life in the UK test English: Her degree taught in english in India which the UKBA calculator gives 10 po...

Re: PBS Dependent ILR short of days please advise

You are qualified to apply for ILR by June 18,2018 which coincidentally happens to be the date the visa will expire. You can use premium appointment to get the ILR if you can bear the cost Dear Ianrezy Many thanks for your reply. Yes, I think it would be the best idea. Are you sure we are qualified...

Re: PBS dependent ILR qualifying period calculation

OMG! just feel like got wings to fly! 😂 So, the visa valid date (entry clearance) is working, I mean , for being the start of the qualifying period, even the actual arrival date was later? So, it doesn't matter what the "6.1" part on the form is asking about the entered UK date? Thank you indeed! Y...

Re: PBS dependent ILR qualifying period calculation

Hi, congratulations guys! May I just kindly ask did your dependants filled in their SAT(o)s - 「Section 6 - 6.1」 with the entry date or visa valid date? Because of "6.1 When did you (the main applicant) first enter UK? This refers to the date you entered UK at the beginning of the period of stay on ...
