Re: change brc issued under eea to eu settlement

On googling, it seems the postcode is from another Returns address (PO Box 163). I wrote to APAD and was told the address they'd provided ...

Re: Travelling to India In February with Residency card (Family Member EU Residence)

Hello, I'm in a similar situation (non-EEA national - Indian - married to an Irish national) and wrote to UKVI to ask if my BRC will be valid for travel post Dec 31, 2020. I received this response: "We can see you have applied for Pre-Settled Status using your biometric residence card (BRC) which is...

EEA (FM) and traveling with/without spouse

Hi, I (Indian national) have applied for an EEA (FM) Residence Card and should hopefully receive it before I go on holiday to Berlin with my husband (Irish national working in the UK). As I understand, I will not require a Schengen visa since I will be traveling with him when I enter Germany. My hus...

It's the EEA Family Permit for 6 months. I can only apply for the 5 year Residence Card once in the UK.

Non-EEA visiting Ireland with Irish spouse

Hi I'm an Indian married to an Irish national who is living and working in the UK. I have just received my Family Permit and we were hoping to spend Christmas and NYE with his family in Ireland. I'd taken it for granted that I wouldn't need a separate visa as India is part of the British-Irish Visa ...

Congrats Moki! That's Interesting. So are they following their timelines now? You got your EEA FP in just 36 working days?

-Tony
Certainly looks positive! It was issued on 21.11 so 33 working days.
I'm an Indian national and I applied in Bangalore, India.

Re: Sheffield Visa Section - EEA FAMILY PERMIT

Hi, I've been following this thread ever since I came across it (after applying) and was convinced I would need to withdraw my application in January as I needed to travel in March. I received my Family Permit this morning and I hope that it will give some people a reason to stay optimistic about ap...
