I applied to change brc issued under eea to eu settlement. I got a email from ukvcas stating ‘UKVI are currently assessing whether my application can be progressed via the IDV app or reusing biometrics that have been recorded in previous application’.

Is this new process now?

Received my email today,have been granted pre settled status as have just finished my first year of my RC,says from 2021 we will be under British immigration rules.
