Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

My case was not decided within 24 hours. Instead I received generic email claiming my case is of an extreme complexity. My case is a straighfrward spouse application on 5 year route (I already hold a valid spousal leave to remain). I think the Home Office is lying and symply delaying the decision fo...

I feel it is unfair that I was charged extra £600 for super premium 24 hour service but did not get it.

It is a standard automated reply. Your application will likely take a bit longer than normal.

Application switching from 10 year partner route to 5 year partner route labeled as " exceptionally complex"

Hi everyone, I was recently granted 10 year route in-country leave to remain as a spouse of UK citizen. The reason for 10 and not 5 year route was immigration status as a visitor. (History: we married for many years, lived many years abroad, have children, own house together, bank accounts etc.) Aft...

Hi everyone, I recently obtained leave to remain in the UK as spouse of UK citizen. I have BRP. I also have 7 yo British child. (my parent's grandchild). I want to help my parents to obtain long term visitor visas to the UK for the purpose of visiting me and their grandchild during school holidays. ...

Re: Difference between 10 year and 5 year route?

5 y route you meet the requirements of Appendix FM EXACTLY as they are; 10 y route - if don't AND it would unjustifiably harsh to refuse you visa. It is VERY difficult to get application/visa on 10 y route granted because it requires the Home Office to exercise the discretion which they try NOT to e...

I want to move with my wife to the UK but I'm disabled with Stage 4 Genetic Liver Disease and will eventually need a transplant. My wife is a dual US/UK citizen being born in Peterborough. Re: Got the news..refused..silly errors

1) I would ask your lawyer to prepare a new application which WOULD COMPLY with the requirements and PAY your new application fee. Clearly it is a malpractice to submit a non-compliant immigration application. 2) New 2012 Immigration rules regarding £18600 income are intentionally designed to STOP s...

I was with my mum back in 05 and the ukba came over and had her arrested to be deported, she overstated her visa and we went into care, any way fast forward to 18, I’ve become a British citizen, and I’m wondering if my mum will be able to come to the uk for settlement. How do I go about it? She’s b...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

I filed FLR(FP) as a spouse of Uk citizen because of my immigration status. It took the Home Office a YEAR to refuse my application and another year to litigate. In total 2 years. In my case it was a terrible mistake (bad legal advice) to file that application. I should have applied for a spousal vi...

Re: FLR(FP) Application time

FLR(FP) application as a partner is NIGHTMARE and the LAST RESORT! 1) It is ALWAYS labelled as "complex" which gives the Home Office an excuse to take a YEAR to decide it. 2) It is almost always be refused and sent to the Tribunal to decide. All in all, we are talking about YEARS of waiting and enou...

Given that you have been so ill advised by your solicitor already regarding your FLR(FP) application, I would take his advise regarding the NHS fee paid which is mandatory with ANY visa application (not visitor visa which you had) with a pinch of salt. You are an overstayer with no legal status in ...

Re: Appeal withdrawn before going to tribunal - 320 (11) refusal: overwhelmed and confused

Congrats! My solicitor and my barrister told me that the Home Office sometimes gives up fighting the case against you, usually when the Home Office thinks that an applicant/appelant has high chances at the hearing at Tribunial. It would be pointless and wasteful to fight something they know they are...

In FLR(FP) application as aspouse of UK citizen, is it reasonable to send a mother of 5 y.o. child back to her country just to apply for a spousal visa? Re: FLR (FP) , legality of time consumed in considering application with homeoffice

if you think the Home Office unreasonably wasted your 7 years of life, ask a solicitor or barrister (there are publically instructed barristers) for a possibility to file a lawsuit against the Home Office. Read in the internet about the lawsuit/suing the Home Office/Secretary of State. There are cas...

Re: Help for Flr (Fp)

I submitted my flr(fp) as a spouse of UK citizen in Nov 2016, got rejection in Nov 2017. As far as I know a year waiting is normal for flr(fp) because the home office automatically labells these cases " of high complexity" and thus out of any timeframe. I had a very bad experience with the Home Offi...
