Just want some clarity. My solicitor just told me someone doesn't have to wait for 10 years as long he or she doesn't abscond in the last ten years as part of good character. New immigration rule from September 2022

Children had ILR through settled status

Can someone please help me out with this question?
My children were born in UK but they had thier ILR over a year ago through settled status with thier mum.
Do they need to apply for British passport straightaway or they will have to apply for citizenship first.

Naturalisation EU child

My children and my wife acquired settled status last year March. They are all EU citizens. My son was born in 2014 and my daughter was born in 2016. Do you think I can apply for British passport for my children straightaway without naturalisation?

This is why I confused. Someone said i should call my MP that it's not fair and another person suggested i should wait till when I'm 5 years in marriage. These two has been my thought but can someone genuinely advise me on these 2 options please?

Yes they called me if I'm happy with pre settled status until my marriage is 5 years which is next year and I told my caseworker that I'm fine with that and since then no letter no information

I spent my whole time in UK since 2010. I only spent 2 weeks outside UK when i went for the wedding.
I went to Nigeria between mid july to end of july 2015. That was the only time i spent outside UK.

U should be fine if only you are a direct family member of an EU national and stated on your resident card. To be safe, go with ur marriage certificate while ur wife travel with u. Im sure u will be fine

I recently travelled with my wife and my kids to lithuania on holiday and there was no problem at any EU countries at all. All what you need is your resident card clearly shows family member of a union citizen. Your marriage certificate and your valid passport. Although, a border officer at Denmark ...
