Hi everyone. I have the similar problem. I spelled my village of birth in one manner, and just found out that it should be spelled differently. My question is, should I get my certificate and send it for correction? Is this a MATERIAL mistake or not?? Any sugestion will be much appreciated. Cheers.

I applied via JCAP so my passport will be sent to me automatically, or should I phone Passport office after the ceremony and inform them that I'm sending my certificate for correction??? Or ...

The problem is next, as I was born in the village, in my ukrainian passport Place Of Birth is stated as OBLAST only, not even translated into Latin. Thank you very much, for your answer. Ukrainian authorities will not RECOGNIZE my second nationality, I still be ukrainian for them. And I have no problem with that. My worry is, that Home Office will notice this misspelling at some poin later on and it may cause problems to me in the future. How ...
