I would suggest that you do your research before advising people. Recruiters account for less than 40% of all recruitment in UK. Agreed, you should not limit your job search direct applications only. Agreed...but direct recruitment is a good channel which cannot be ignored. I realize this is a faster and much more efficient channel which works very well. Next time you are looking for a job..try this and you will realize that...

I get fed up with the recruiters. There is more nuisance than help in job search. UK job market has become too inefficient. You can't study full time on Tier 1.

I had called Cranfield admission dept to check the same.
As per them, We can't study full time on Tier 1 in the UK.

If you wish to study outside UK, the period will be treated as absence from UK.

If you find anything otherwise,please let me know too.
