Could someone please advise on my query? Post the birth registration, does father's british passport needs to be submitted along with new born child's first british passport?

Please advise if baby (newborn) passport application requires submission of original british passport of father as a supporting document?

The gov.uk site does not give clear instructions on this or I am not able to ascertain that.
