In my personal experience it's not a problem. It took a couple of months before I got biometric appt. I think it just depends on who is handling your case. They will contact you via email to arrange biometrics after they have received your application. I submitted my application in March and just today received an email explaining how to arrange your biometrics enrollment. Hope that helps!
