Re: Calculating the time of absence

Hi all, some of my colleagues were advised by the lawyers that the process in High Court would last a year- a year and a half. so no hope for a quick solution here. The rule is not written anywhere, according to Citizenship info phone line, "isn't it obvious that you need to deduct those days?" well...

Re: GNIB / IRP Stamp 1 - Changing job

as far as I am aware, you can only change an employer after 12 months. the new employer might need to sponsor a new permit though.

after 2 years on CS you will get a stamp 4 and will be able to do whatever you want

Re: Calculating the time of absence

"just send your application a month later that will cover all the arrival and departure days " i really envy those people for whom it is a matter of weeks. Since I (and lots of my colleagues) was frequently travelling for work (and they accepted this as reckonable residence before November 2017, but...

Re: Calculating the time of absence

My colleague got a response from the Citizenship desk that we need to count only the days when you're fully out, without arrival and departure dates (from team 2) I got a reply that we need to count all days (from team 4). They have ignored my two follow ups where I cite their first response.

Re: absences in Long-term EU-resident permit

I have never heard about a long-term/permanent EU residence permit. There are permanent/long-term residence permits for each country, thus, she will probably get one for Austria (status of a permanent resident in Austria). That wouldn't give her a right to reside/work in another EU country. You need...

Long Term residence permit - experiences

Hi all, has anyone applied for an LTR - long term residence permit (which is basically a GNIB for 5 years). The website quotes a minimal package of documents - only work permits, copies of all passports, and a valid GNIB/IRP copy. any recommendations on what else should you send? also - how long did...

Re: Re-entry visa requires country

How did you get into Ireland? Did you need a visa the first time you came here? If not, then you don't need a visa, entry, re-entry or anything which is called a visa, to enter Ireland

Citizenship application - 6 weeks per annum absence

Hi fellow immigrants, do we have here any IT company employees who were refused naturalization on a basis of too much travel? Previously, all employees of our company who provided detailed letters that they had to go on business trips, had their applications accepted. As of December last year, a num...
