Question re: ILR timing

Hi there,

My vignet in my passport for my Tier 2 Visa was dated valid from 18 September to 18 October 2018. My BRP was valid from 4 October 2018. I arrived in the uk 5 October 2018.

Which date do I use for the ILR 28 day rule?

Thanks

Same employer, new SOC

Hi there, I hope everyone is well. My employer is in the process of renewing for the skilled worker visa (switching from Tier 2). I will be with the same employer but wondering what would happen if we apply for a new COS with a new SOC code? The visa renewal will fall in line with a job change in th...

Re: RQF 6 question

The job just has to be at Level 6, you do not need to be educated to that level if your company believes you are qualified. 22. The Certificate of Sponsorship must confirm that the job is at Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) level 6 as stated in the codes of practice, or the job is a creative...

I'm on my 13th working day after applying priority from Canada - this is very frustrating! Emailed UKVI two days ago and all they said was that my visa was processing :?

Re: Tier 2 General Application Supporting Docs

Taken from a previous post on this. 1) RCOS - suggest printing the PDF that comes in employer email 2) Evidence of English: NARIC certificate/Eng language test, Degree Certificate 3) Maintenance: letter from sponsor if certified in the cos/ letter from bank or statements showing sufficient fund for ...

Re: I want to say no to COS before applying for Visa

I signed the paperwork initially to say that I agree to pay back fees if I was sponsored which was if I got sponsored. I would say you would probably owe them money for this but other than that I don't see that you have a legal obligation to stay with them if you don't want to. Would probably make ...

Any one who received CoS can tell how it looks like. Is it just 2 page pdf with cos number and your detail?
Yes, that's what I've seen. You only need your number but the document itself will show if maintenance is being covered etc.

Re: Temporarily work remotely (abroad) under Tier 2 Visa

If you're gone for a full year I would look at the tax agreement the UK has with your home country as well as having your company file for a overseas worker exception. If you are in your country for 6 months (for most places) you will be considered a resident and may have to pay double tax. Also, th...

Passports and Travel Information

For those who have used the new Visa website: 1. In the passport section, it asks you if you have 'other travel documents'. I have two of my previous passports (expired) and one that was lost. On the old website, it gave you an option to indicate that a passport is lost. I'm wondering if I should ev...

Could someone tell me when HO ask for RLMT detail. I don't think SMS system asks for RLMT detail. So if its not SMS then at which point HO checks RLMT and how?
They send an email after you submit.
