Depending on a type of application.
Have you applied to UKVI or INIS.
UKVI usually take long time to make decisions.
12-18 months normally but right now they must be extremely busy due to high numbers of applications because of Brexit.

Thank you so much for your reply actually this is the bit which confuses me. Why they are referring 5 years. I m just concerned that may be they have any requirements to must live 5 years before apply for Naturalisation under atleast 3 years of being married/ civil partnership. 2 out of 4 and then 1...
