Someone is willing to help me but they are hesitant to put all of that money in my account. It is really a lot ...

Does Sick Leave while on Tier 2 affect Date Due for ILR

Hello everyone, I had surgery in the UK just under a year ago and was signed off work for 6 weeks. I had to go on Sick Pay for the duration. Would this affect/extend the time I am eligible to apply for Permanent Residence? I am due in July 2018. Do I need to give it another 6 weeks before I can ...

Re: Tier 2 Work Permit Holder - Dependant Visa for Husband

Thank you for your response.
To be clear please, are you saying the letter that was issued previously would still be relevant in this case? It is a bit unclear to me as this is another application for a new dependant.

Tier 2 Work Permit Holder - Dependant Visa for Husband

Hello everyone, I have been on my Tier 2 work permit for 4 and a half years now. At the time of my application, an A-Rated sponsor letter to show that my employer would be responsible for maintenance for myself and my daughter was included. I am now getting married next month and my husband is in ...

Re: Tier 2 - Minimum Salary Requirement for ILR Application

Would it also be an option for my hours to be increased to 40 per week as the experienced worker minimum salary requirement for my SOC level is £37000+. My current CoS has 33 hours at £29601 per annum. Prior to this, a Tier 2 visa application was refused because my CoS stated 40 hours per week at £ ...

Re: Tier 2 - Minimum Salary Requirement for ILR Application

Thank you so much, now I understand. I will start looking for other jobs just to be on the safer side.
If my company was open to helping me, would it be an option for my company to give me car allowance and then salary increase to make up the 35k instead of a 6.5k bump in pay?

Re: Tier 2 - Minimum Salary Requirement for ILR Application

I have been on Tier 2 since August 2013.
On another thought, would it be an option if I got a part time job at the same level that paid at least the extra 6000GBP per year to make up the difference I need? If so, are there any requirements that the part time employer would need to meet?

Re: Tier 2 - Minimum Salary Requirement for ILR Application
