It's totally normal for your spouse not to be able to travel on an EU1 spousal visa. You're lucky that she gets er stamp 4. Spouses of other EU members haven't been getting any stamp 4 at all....So count your lucky stars. When you travel you need to travel by nationality/passport, so the country you...

Sometimes do what's in his best interests he might just need to look at another case first. Because the way it stands now it seems to me like Kumar is going down & taking a lot of people with him!!!

I don't know where I got my luck from (or the lack there of). Been living in Ireland for 6 years. Go married to an EU National over a year ago. Applied for my EU1 in July 2006, waited 9 months to the day & got rejected - for not having resided in ANOTHER EU state before coming to Ireland. SO living ...

Congrats! We're in a similar situation, except me (the non-Eu National) has been living in ireland for years on work permits.
All we got was a nice letter telling me to get lost!

I'm really not sure. To be honest I think They only look at the amount of months you had in your passport at the time of application which needs to be more than 60 months - so hopefully yo uwill be okay. i really hope so for your sake. Because once you get the LTR you can work freely anyway so then ...

And some are left with no other choices! I've seriously given up on this one! At this point I think an EU1 visa is just false hope for everybody! I mean why should a case like this get any kind of preference at all? I mean, depending on this case they might need to allow more forgein nationals into ...

ATT STATIC: Firstly, did you get the last PM I sent you about the Work Permit Application? I've just gone through this, so I know how it works & not talking "secong hand". Hey thanks for that info! Good to hear the wheels are rolling. But what about us who have been denied already? SHOULD things end in our favour, will I need to go through the full application process again & be without my passport again & wait another 6 (or 9 as was in my case) months to get a reply?

I don't want to start pointing fingers or passing blame onto anybody - specially not onto one person alone. I think it's just the system that has gone out of control. With so much immigration happening in sucha small country I guess it can be expected! But after living here for 6 years I thought I m...

Yeh I thought about that too, but do we really want to upset the powers that be? In the end our (and others to follow) future's are in their hands! Yes, I got all my documents back as well...doesn't help at all though. Seems like nothing I have is worth the paper it's written on anyway!

How will we know when the court case is settled & what the outcome is? Is there some website a person can keep an eye on?
