Hi I received my approval letter from the home office on Friday three and a half weeks from the time I re river my acknowledgement letter. This seems unusually fast. My employer was involved doing employer checks etc so don't know if this helped speed up the process. Good luck to everyone still wait...

That's a good question. I have heard that they provide documentation rather than a sticker in your passport. But I am not sure how accurate this information is. Will provide an update if any new info comes to light.

I requested that all my documents be returned, which they did. They said they may recall them later if needed. They also said the application may be delayed because the documents had been returned.
