I call for my national insurance number today but they were telling me that I need to take my passport with me for an interview and my passport is with the home office. because I only received my coa without a passport from them. So am convince now

I try to apply for a national insurance number this morning with my coa application with right to work but they said I can't, until when I get a residence card.is it law change or what?

Thanks for your reply this are the document I send with my application, water bills,gas,electricity bills,bank statement,credit card statement,payslip,marriage certificate,wedding pictures and honeymoon proof and my wife pregnancy proof with baby scan that's all. hope this will be fine?

Yes I did,but still waiting for the outcome because I submitted my own application on 17/08/2018 and I did my biometric on 29/08/2018.no coa yet.
