Is there any min UK Visa validity to leave and enter?

Hi All

Say that my UK Tier I visa expires on 1 November 2009.
Can I leave UK on 10 Oct 2009 and come back on 25 Oct 2009 as my UK visa is still valid? Or is there any requirement which says that my UK visa must be valid for min 3 months to enter again?

Thanks in advance.

I am Indian and got SC and so are there others. For British citizens, it takes less time and for others bit longer from 6 weeks to few months. No specific time frame. Nationality does not guarantee acceptance/rejection but only time frame.

Whatever may be the reason for not processing the ILR appllications until 20th may. But its REALLY FRUSTATING that they are turning the candidates when they turn up for the appointment rather than informing them by phone/post/mail. They are still doing the same thing and turned away my friend when h...

If they fire you, make sure that you take your case to Employment Tribunal for unfair dismissal.

Sometimes the fight is not for money but for pride.
We can not always necessarily put ourselves into someone else shoes and understand the situation.

Its really important that the employer admit their mistake, come clean etc..not just for the OP but to make sure that other wont face similar problem.

Did you try contacting Employment Tribunal or Citizen Advice Bureau for free advice rather than wasting money on Lawyer?

and frankly if you have to sue an employer to hire you, what kind of work environment do you think you are creating for yourself. It is a no winner no matter how you look at it.
This is a valid point and I was thinking about it as well.

I think you may NOT have case against race discrimination but definitely breach of contract...

I would pursue the matter...

Then hardly anyone on HSMP will get ILR in 5 years as most of the HSMP come here without a job and then start searching.

Yes, to be honest even I am confused now... I though online salary slips printed on official letter head which has logo at the top should be fine with no stamps or signature. A signature and stamp is required only if not printed on official letter head with no logo... Anyone who got Tier 1 with onli...

Say to your employer that you need to apply for tourist visa for some country and ask them to issue standard letter...that might work as well.

Its simple...You changed to Tier I because you to want to change the employer... :D

I did not tell my employer when I changed the visa, my friends did not tell...
everything is fine as long as you have valid visa to work...
