Re: Naturalisation through Irish marriage

If it makes you feel better, applications through spouse of Irish is handled pretty quick as well if your children are Irish as well. But every application is different but most I heard spouse of Irish are dealt with faster. Provided all your documents are in order

Re: Naturalisation through Irish marriage

all I know is most people that tried to apply ahead or were just short of a few days have had their application returned and fee (175 euro) kept. Not worth it in my opinion. You could ask a lawyer It doesn’t matter how long you been married. But you have to be resident in the state for 3 years and n...

Re: irish naturalisation delayed fee

10 workings days basically means 2 weeks. Working days are Monday- Friday. If your letter says you have 10 working days, I assume you have 10 working days and can not pass that time limit you gave. But you said 13 days including weekend, so maybe you made it or not. Call them on Tuesday and let them...

Re: delay in citizenship application - applied in 2016

Any new news from those who are waiting since 2016. It looks that they don't circulating many approvals this month. Do you think that it could be a small ceremony ?? On the inis website, it says no more ceremonies will be held in Dublin convention, and from now on it will be held in Killarney conve...

Re: Next ceremony 21st may 2018 killarney

I think the place is small; expect may be 500 applicants and only from near by Cork I went on the Killarney convention website, it looks smaller then the dublin. I just always assumed the first ceremony of the new year would be a big one. I knew this delay in announcements was because of something.

it's on the INIS website. check it here: http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/ci ... ceremonies

I wonder if someone could help me in the following matter. My wife applied for Irish citizenship, as a spouse of an Irish citizen, in July 2017. Hi, I got the same answer when I called them. I’ve applied since last year February. I think our letters are coming soon.
Did they tell you anything else. I don’t think they are allowed to much detail but sometimes they let things slip. Good luck to you too

Re: Stage 2 letter query

I think it is. The whole second stage is check any criminal record and all that. I have however heard that people got a minister decision without ever receiving a second stage letter, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they were not vetted in the second stage. Just probably never notified them what t...

Re: Contacting citizenship phoneline

I hope so, I do believe most of us are genuine people. They haven't even announced ceremony yet so I'm automatically assuming there is delay for some reason.

Now they are giving same answers but are not going into detail as well has me confused
