Re: Citizenship application, still no update

Hi. For me, it took 7 and a half months to get a decision. I applied at the end of September 2021. At the six-month point, I sent an email to FurtherNationalityEnquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk to ask for an update and the reply came after 16 working days (I think they say they'll try to reply within 20 w...

Re: HMPO not receiving any passport!

They said the reason is that HMPO doesn't always sign for items as they are delivered in bulk. Anyway, you can...

Re: Is a fast decision a good or bad thing? I’m nervous

We applied for my wife's settlement visa from Shanghai, too - back in 2016. Our first application was rejected (missing supporting docs) but the second application 3 months later was successful. Both took around 3 weeks. Visa processing times in China are quite quick - according to this , 79% of sett...

Re: Applying to extend Spouse Dependant Visa- When to apply

SandyGarg: I asked this exact question in a different thread and I've just found some text on .gov.uk which answers it. To avoid repetition, I'll just include the link to that thread: https://www.immigrationboards.com/immigration-for-family-members/spouse-visa-extension-33-months-or-30-months-t25069...

Re: Spouse Visa Extension 33 months or 30 months

CR001, sorry to jump on this thread but I've had the exact same question but never found an authoritative source for the common answer given on these forums. Do you have a link on .gov.uk to confirm that one can apply for FLR 30 months after first entry? The only link I can find is this: https://www...

Re: Applying to extend Spouse Dependant Visa- When to apply

You should apply within 28 days before your reach 2.5 years residence. Does anyone have a link on .gov.uk to confirm this? I've read many threads on the forum with this same answer but never found a source to confirm it. The only link I can find is this: https://www.gov.uk/uk-family-visa which says...
