Re: British passport for child-Marriage certificate

My child is born in uk in september 2018.I would like to apply for British passport for my child. Your child doesn't qualify to apply for a British passport directly as the child is not British. You have to register the child as British on form MN1 first, costs £1022. This is separate to the eventu...

Re: Employer letter contents - Tier 2 ILR

I recently got my ILR approved. I would recommend to also include the weekly hours worked in a line, as the application asks for us to fill this in. Just make sure its printed on university letterhead and contains the contact details of the HR (incase HO needs to contact them for any verification)....

Re: ILR Employment letter (the period over which the person has been paid)

As fas as I am aware of, the pay that the application needs you to fill in and the pay that HO is predominantly interested in is the 'Basic Pay', which should also be stated clearly in your employment letter. I don't think overtime is taken into consideration when HO decides if financial requirement...

Re: UKVCAS Super Priority Service

Glad for you that your wait, though agonising, is over. The new super priority seems to have mixed results. I see lots of delays for Tier 2 or spouse visa. Did anyone who applied on 18th Feb (Croydon) receive a decision already? I have applied around noon, but haven't heard anything back. I see few...

My parents have applied for visa two weeks back and got their visa. You don't need to provide any passport photographs with the application now. The photo taken at biometrics will be used for printing the same on the visa stamp.
