Residence cards processing time?

Hello, my wife applied for her residence card last week. We included my 3 months of payslips & bank statements, etc and also a job offer for her.
We are planning to use the RC card to move to Ireland, does anyone know the average processing time for the RC of a non EU?

Many thanks

Thanks for your reply. We are about to apply for my wife's British residence card. Then we are planning to fly to Ireland. Do you think when we are in Ireland we could apply for permission to stay?

Oh that's good to know. I may have more questions further as we get closer to the move if that's okay. You have been really helpful, I wish you a happy new year :) :)

Do you think she would need a tourist visa or could we likely enter Ireland showing our marriage cert and family permit?

Thanks again for your help

Yes, I have a valid Irish passport. Okay, that's good to hear. I have some payslips from my job here in England, would it be best if I traveled alone to Ireland and started work? Or could both of us move over if we had job offers and some savings?

Many thanks

Hi everyone,
My Thai wife and I moved to the UK from Thailand in June. We were told to wait 5 months before applying for her permanent residence card. I have found full time work and she has part time work. Can someone advise me on how to apply?

Can a wife of Irish spouse with UK family permit visit Ireland

Hi everyone, my wife recently got her UK family permit and we are moving to England in a few weeks. I am Irish and we would like to visit Ireland to visit family for a few days. It looks like we need to get her a short stay C visa or does anyone know a way to avoid the visa?

Kind regards

Re: Irish husband, Thai wife planning for the EEA Family Permit

Are you both currently in Thailand? It should be straight forward, assuming she doesn't get a ridiculous refusal. Yes, we're both in Thailand. We are reasonably good with paper work, do you think we should try applying ourselves first? Or play it safe and get an expert to help (I got a quote for 45...
