Re: I would like to apply EUTR3 application bit early

If I were you, I would apply exactly 6 months before the expiry date (to be on the safe side) i.e. end of Feb 2024/beginning of March 2024.

More experienced members can probably guide you on whether or not you can/should apply even earlier e.g. in Jan 2024.

Re: I would like to apply EUTR3 application bit early

Hi Corw, It is possible indeed and it's in-fact what our local Garda immigration officer told us to do i.e. apply EUTR3 after 4.5 years (6 months before the expiry date). Some people who have applied EUTR3 2 months before expiry date were issued temporary stamp 4 (read it on this forum), you can sea...

Re: Bringing non eu parents to Ireland (Irish citizen)

What do you mean 3 year prior to application? Like son or daughter of the applicant should earn 60/75K per year after deductions and taxes 3 years prior to application? And also, is life insurance expensive? Would life insurance cover the existing health problems since they are elderly people most ...

Re: Go to Paris before getting my IRP Card

Thanks for the info! I'm still a bit unsure though that a stamp in my passport will be enough without the physical irp card Like @meself2 has advised above, as you are a US citizen you are technically OK to travel to France and back to Ireland without the IRP. TBH, If I was in your situation, I wou...

Re: Go to Paris before getting my IRP Card

I believe they will stamp my passport at the appointment Would they? I'm not sure if they do anymore. UPD: Was told they do. Then you're fine. [/quote] My spouse recently went to renew her Stamp 4 (withdrawal agreement) to our local Garda immigration office, where she was informed that since her pa...

Re: Queries regarding Residency Proof and Rent Payment Documentation

Regarding the daft.ie rent agreement, I believe I have a legitimate legal agreement in place. However, I'm unsure if it fulfills the requirements for Residency Proof. My landlord advertised the rental property on daft.ie, and when I signed the lease, I received a rent agreement through daft.ie. For...

Forgot to add, the decision due date according to the acknowledgement letter was 20/03/2023 but evidently it was made earlier than that in our case (15/02/2023 as per the approval letter).

Spouse/partner leave to remain is acceptable and if it said 'family member of EU' then you wouldn't need a schengen visa.

Re: Family member of EU National German visa application

The only instance I can find when parents have the same rights as spouse, children and direct descendants U21 is when EU citizen is working, is a pensioner or have sufficient resources and I don't think the OP's child is currently doing any of that. Re: Family member of EU National German visa application

Thanks for providing the links. However, my understanding is still the same as it says 'Direct Descendants of the EU citizen under the ages of 21' and no where it says parents of the EU citizen or over the age of 21... if you see my point. AFAIK in the case of parents of EU citizen (of any age) they...

She can proof this by showing travel tickets and hotel reservation under your name from Netherlands to Germany or a declaration letter from yourself stating you will be joining your wife in Germany.

Re: Non-Eu spouse schengen visa for Netherlands rejected

My wife collected her passport from the German Consulate today. They have issued her with a multiple entry visa for 8 days, which is fine with us because that's how long we applied the visa for and intended to visit Germany. Still seems a bit silly that Netherland's issued us a 45 days single entry ...
