Hi all, I will ask the potential employer next week but I was wondering if someone here would know the answer. I am currently on a Tier 2 Visa and have been offered an interview for a new role. I applied for the position on Company A's website. The job is with an organsation described as a 'joint ve...

Re: BRP(RC) applications

Letter received 4/09, dated 1/09. Still haven't received the BRP and DX courier has no record. This is unnecessarily frustrating.

Lost BRP

Hi everyone I've lost my wallet with my BRP ( I'll leave it at home in future). I have submitted the application and have biometrics appointment on the 22nd of August in Croydon. Only problem is is that I have had to cancel a trip this weekend to Germany and have booked a holiday for 5 nights to Spa...

Tier 2 Visa

Good Afternoon I am on a Tier 2 Visa, working full time. I'm considering starting a side project using social media channels with the aim to moving to selling products. This would obviously lead to me having to set up a business, which I know is not permitted in the UK under the visa conditions. Tho...

Trouble booking appointment: the appointment you have chosen is no longer available. Please choose another time.

Hi I'm at the end of my Tier 2 application online. I am trying to book the appointment at TLScontact in Düsseldorf, Germany. There shows a wide variety of appointments and I am selecting from them and getting the response everytime "the appointment you have chosen is no longer available. Please choo...

Re: OCTOBER 2018 Restricted COS - PLS DO NOT POST VISA APP RELATED QUESTIONS HERE!!!

After 10 months of refusals, a rescinded job offer, being reoffered the position and all around mess, I finally have received a COS on 33 Points, news came through on Monday, so lightning speed. This board has been very informative over the last year! Thanks to all those who run it!

Re: April 2018 Restricted COS

34 points refusal (obviously) received today. Employer advised that May will be the last month they try. All but given up any hope and looking at other options in other countries now.

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

33 points. Non shortage. Obviously rejected. My employer has said something strange to me. They said the email said i couldnt apply in april and will need to in May. I told them theyve probably misread it and it means the application wont be carried over into April and they need a fresh application....

Re: March 2018 Restricted COS

I have been offered a conditional employment contract and my application is in for March. The salary is listed as around 31500 and in a separate section it mentions a london weighting of around 2000. Is the total salary with london weighting included as the salary for points or the lowest one. Addit...
