Expired passport for citizenship application

Dear all

My Bulgarian friend is about to apply for naturalization. However, his Bulgarian passport is expired , can he use his ID card instead, or can he use both id card and expired passport?

Must he renew his passport to be able to apply?

Re: Email from HO , Please Help

I keep monitoring the timelines and have noticed that time for decision depends on the route a lot. Is there any information if it as well depends on applicant's nationality? I mean, are the good character or whatever checks all the same for everybody or not? Yes, these all things matter and checks...

I emailed them after seeing this thread and then waited for a week and I got no reply. At that time I had given my case id only (and assumed that they would see my name from my email address). Re: Traffic Offence in Germany

Dont worry.

If there is no cautions or points in your name here in the UK , I don't think that should cause a problem...

Just be relaxed and chill

As long as you meet the requirements and other stuff , you will be absolutely fine. Just go ahead and get it completed asap

Best of luck

Private Ceremony

Just paid £200 for the private ceremony because if you wait for an allocation from council , you would need to wait 3 months which is absolutely ridiculous.

Why private ceremonies are so costly ????

Your baby is a british citizen . That's for sure. You can apply by filling in the paper form and send it with supporting docs, such as your passport , ilr, and baby's birth certificate.
