Re: Is CSI required for Non-EEA family member and EEA national applying for citizenship with settled status

I don't know where to start, I woke up this morning with the news on CSI policy change and felt hopeless about the situation. I just now received email from caseworker confirming my citizenship application has been APPROVED :D I thought this might comfort few people who are also in similar situatio...

Re: Is CSI required for Non-EEA family member and EEA national applying for citizenship with settled status

Thank you secret.simon I would have not made citizenship application if I would have know this before. I've applied for citizenship using EUSS in Feb with my partner and we haven't heard anything yet. Now with change in policy it looks like we risk losing both of our application fees at the time of ...

Re: Is CSI required for Non-EEA family member and EEA national applying for citizenship with settled status

It looks like HO has updated citizenship policy guidance on CSI (Page number 26-28) https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/885368/naturalisation-as-a-british-citizen-by-discretion-v5.0-gov-uk.pdf CSI is not required to obtain EUSS. But accordi...

Re: UKVCAS Login Issue

I was having trouble with UKVCAS website when I was trying to register using chrome browser.

I found using different browser (safari) solved the issue.

In your case it might not work but worth trying.

Is CSI required for Non-EEA family member and EEA national applying for citizenship with settled status

Hi Guys, I'm non-eea family member of EEA citizen. Me and my wife has been granted settled status in Jan 2019 and we wish to apply for citizenship in a week time. Re: 5 year EEA family residence permit expiring 3 months before the new "settled status" go live

Re: EEA national self-sufficient based on the income of their non-EEA family member?

Thank you @secret.simon and @CR001 for your quick reply. EU citizen didn't had CSI for one year (when not working or seeking work) out of five years, which means not qualified for PR for now. EU citizen is currently student and has CSI (for themselves AND non-eu family members) from past 3 years, I'...
