A UK born child does not require ILR if you plan on registering the child as a British citizen.

Important to note that ILR based on 10 years long residence does not permit dependents to apply with the main applicant.

Hi, Would be grateful for insights to our situation. Tier 2 holder - in UK<5 years so not eligible for ILR Dependent 1 - partner of main visa holder and has been in UK >10 years on multiple visas:T4 then 2 then now a T2 dependent.
