Re: Student visa with kids

What about their schooling exactly?? They can attend school without any issues if they have a Dependent visa. They will have to follow the process of a placement wherever their local council is. Will it be free (as normal) in council schools or it will be paid as Student visa comes with no access t...

Re: URGENT Help needed

Getting all the required docs would make a difference but still may take a little time. What sort of a dependant visa is it? Pbs or spouse route? Has visa expired? If PBS, has main applicant received ILR? Depending on background. Could reapply with super priority. PBS Tier 2 dependent with main app...

Re: Certificate of naturalisation

I’ve attended my ceremony at 10th October 2019. However at my certificate was wrote only 10th October with no year. I didn’t even think it could be a problem so I’ve applied for passport and send documents to the passport office. After few days I received a call from passport office informing me as...

Re: Effect of not declaring caution (happened 5 years ago) on Naturalisation application

Hi Thanks for replies. I was at police station for whole day from 4am to 5pm. I don't remember exactly what police said, but I believe they never said caution to me. I am worried that even if they had said caution, I wouldn't have understood it as I didn't know its meaning and the implications. Wha...

Re: when is the start of the application date?

Don't panic now.. if this would be an issue, I am sure Home office will get back to you with an option to sign and date your application again. They did that to many cases, either submitted before eligibility or not present in UK on the day 5 years ago. Most likely, it will not be an issue. But ment...

Re: Future Intentions

No intentions to scare you, but just by putting you name they can easily find out that you hold a work permit for some EU country which is valid only if you are in employment. Hence, your application could be rejection on the grounds of dishonesty/deception. Honesty is best policy while making such ...

Re: Partner of british citizen but not had contact due to domestic abuse

I would highly recommend to wait till you complete 12 months of ILR and then apply. Honestly, not worth the risk to apply now and then from personal point of view you did get your immigration status independently this far, then connecting yourself to someone you may not like to be connected isnt wor...

Re: Received Citizenship Ceremony letter from register office but nothing from Home Office?

Doesnt matter, Ceremony letter with date is good enough for you to attend the ceremony on 10th Dec. In short, you really don't need Home office letter now. That would be awsome but the Ceremony letter from Register says "You will not be admitted to the ceremony without it" referring to the CITIZENS...

Re: Convicted in absence Good Character checks - British Citizenship

You must declare this in your application. Honesty is the best policy while dealing with such application. This may/may not affect their decision. But if you want to be sure wait till 2021 to apply. Unless you want to fight and come not guilty somehow, which seems quite difficult as it was in 2011 a...

Re: ILR error impact citizenship?

You are overthinking. Keep calm and fill in the actual true dates in your application. If they will spot inconsistency they will ask and then you can explain. And this isnt an error to impact HO decision on your citizenship. Relax!

You are thinking too much. The free apps are also fine, and if you are not comfortable with reading on your phone then find a nearby library and get LITUK book issued for free. I did read it a night before, and did a few mock tests from the free app next morning for exam in the afternoon. And trust...

Nothing ridiculous in uploading twice, you may find it ridiculous when Sopra Steria guy will ask/force you to provide him your salary slips, residence proofs, etc etc  :D They did ask me but I was firm that it isnt required for Naturalisation.
