ILR application date - after Tier 2 General

It might be a basic question, but I would appreciate if anyone could advise. My current Tier 2 General visa expires on 14.09.2018 which is just 3 days before the date I become eligible to apply for ILR (incl 28 days). Is there a way to avoid extending Tier 2 visa just for the sake of 3 days? Thank y...
