She got the entry clearance in April 2019, we went to uk in September 2019.

For option 'b' what accomodation requirements do we have to fulfill? Cannot find any official info.

Get a job offer from UK
Get a suitable place to live at the beginning (friends big house).

just an update,

we got my sons passport for 5 yrs, without any issue without registering him.
just did the online application.

we did not send my parents birth certificate although it was in the required documents list.

When was the child born?? If the child was born AFTER you became British, then the child would be British by descent and can apply for a passport directly.
