hi friends, After 4 months of struggle in UK, I finally got job as a SAP Consultant. bobo77, I just did a check on tax credits by putting your wife's immigration status as subject to immigration control, and you as main applicant as no immigration issues. The result shows you getting tax credits. Don't know why the Irish guy advised you can't get Tax credits...

As on date: Fee for PIO = GBP 110.00 (minors) Fee for OCI = GBP 165.00 Fee for visit visa = GBP 30.00 Visit visa is issued within days, PIO card could take 4-8 weeks (or more), OCI about 12 weeks or more. thanks for the quick replies. Hmm, reading your comments and doing the research, I think I would apply for baby's British passport and then get an Indian visa stamped. Later when I get Brit passport then shall apply OCI for baby. I think thats the only option I have got ?

Anyone applied for OCI (India), Procedure ?

Hi guys,
I have just become father of a baby boy. Me and my wife hold ILR on Indian passport, I assume baby can have only British passport ?
If thats the case, does anyone know if baby can apply for OCI (Overseas citizen of India), and how much time it takes plese.

Just wondering if your wifes employer pays directly into your bank a/c how can the bank stop money coming into your a/c ? anyone can pay money into your bank a/c thats what I think.

andy your wife could give your bank account details and her money can go in your bank a/c for some time, if your wife agrees to it :P
I had given my uncles bank a/c for few months till my a/c was opened up.
