Re: Registering Children 3 years and 4 months - referees

My eldest visa expires 3rd November. He was born here and I have ILR. Does that still I have to apply for the naturalisation before the 3rd of November?

URGENT!!! MN1 form - help with referees

I'm in the same situation. My baby is not even 2 months now. I have to apply for her using MN1. Finding a british citizan is not a problem. But finding the professional is as GP/Health visitor are not giving positive answers. The only other person suggested in this forum is a local pharmacist. But I...

CIM qualification for ILR

Hi all,

My wife has a "Professional Postgraduate diploma in Marketing" awarded by Chartered Institute of Marketing UK. Would this be valid for the English requirement for the application of ILR?

She is currently on a Tier 2 Dependent visa but she is completing 5 years next month.

Thank you,

Re: Evidence of immigration status in the UK

Dont have the approval letters. Luckily Tier 4/PSW are stamped on my passport. The first Tier 2 biometric, I have a scanned copy of it. so should be sufficient.

Re: Evidence of immigration status in the UK

I was confused on the same matter. On the check list it states 2 items as follows: Evidence of Mr X's immigration status in the UK Current Biometric Residence Permit From my perspective the evidence for both is the latest BRP. Prior to this I can ofcourse show the Visa stamps on my passport but I do...

Re: ILR application - first entered UK

I'm sorry, I dont want them to pick on something really simple like this. According to the question it seems like they are asking 5 years from the current date. But then I may have not gone out of the country and come back closer to 5 years before. Or should this date be exactly 5 years back dated f...

ILR application - first entered UK

There is a question on the ILR application as follows: When did you first enter the UK? (Required) This is the date you entered the UK when the period of stay you are basing this application on started. I entered UK in September 2009 as a student, but I am applying for ILR based on 5 years completed...

ILR 180 days rolling absence

Hello, I am a Tier 2 (General) /Sponsored visa holder. I initially got my Tier 2 in November 2012. My 5 years got completed in November 2017. If I apply for my ILR on the 15 April 2018, does the new rule suggest that within any consecutive 365 days I cannot be absent from the country for more than 1...
