Re: Contact my local mp

A frined of mine in same situation, applied 14 Oct, and got the same email as the above a few weeks ago. He is thinking of dropping the MP an email in the next 2 weeks. It seems as many mid-Oct applications are delayed.

Section 3c impact on BC application

Hello friends, when I applied for ILR last year, I applied 5 days before my T2 General leave expired. After almost 3 months (due to covid lockdown couldn’t do biometrics earlier) the ILR was granted. My understanding is that my T2G leave was extended under section 3c. Is my understanding correct? Is...

Re: Joint UK citizenship application

I am in a similar situation, family of 5. I applied mid August and still no response. I am not 100% sure that the comment above that each appliction is assessed without being related to other applications is accurate. For instanc, MN1 registeration under 3(1) is dependant on the fact that one of the...

Re: Forgot to mention one application to UKVI in BC application

Thank you for the response. Actually I panicked last night and sent the nationality team an email stating that I missed to add TOC application and provided needed details. No response other than the auto reply. I hope I didn’t cause myself a delay in decision making

Forgot to mention one application to UKVI in BC application

Hello all, I just realised after 2 months of application submission that I have forget to mention one UKVI application (TOC from visa sticker on passport to BRP). That TOC application was approved at first instance. For some reason, I thought in the BC application I have to add only visa application...

Re: Convention Travel Documents application time experience

Hello everyone, I have a friend who applied for CTD in Nov 2020. In June 2021 they received an email saying application was successful, then the CTD arrived after 2 days. However, the day after the caseworker contacted them saying there is an error with their CTD (which my friend couldn't identify a...

Re: Professional Referee for Children

I have spoken with both GP and children’s school. Both said they are unable to be referees as their personal information such as passport NO. , etc… are required. I will get now the extra curriculum language teacher to be their referee and mention in cover letter that I tried main school teachers bu...

Understanding SARU Trace

Hello friends, I have a question please. I have done my wife's and my Home Office SARU before applying for BC. In my wife's file it showed that there is a "Persons Alert". When reading the details of it (very short paragraph), the date is actually the same date when my wife applied for a DBS (as she...

Re: Refugee naturalisation without passport or travel document

Hi all, a question from the refugee friend I am helping: when granted ILR (Refugee) they applied for Home Office Travel Document, and as part of that application, they sent their national passport (expired in 2019) to Home Office. Due to covid-19 situation, the Home Office didn't process yet their ...

Citizenship after refugee ILR

Hi, I am asking this question on behalf of a friend. They hold an ILR (refugee settlement). When they came to the UK, they came by air (not from EU) using a valid UK visit visa. Nevertheless, as soon as they reached UK airport, they seek-ed asylum and was granted refugee status from the first applic...

Professional Referee for Children

Hi all, Thank you in advance for your help. I am planning to submit my (and my family) Naturalisation applications in August, after 1 year of ILR (T2G). For the adults I managed to secure 2 referees. However, for the children (born out of UK), one of the referees required to be knowing them in a pro...

I am not sure if many people are in a similar situation like mine or if I am a special case. When did you enroll your bio-me...
