Re: September 2018 Restricted COS - PLS DO NOT POST VISA APP RELATED QUESTIONS HERE!!!

Why do people have to keep asking why others didn’t have their COS approved before now? Either: - they had to re-do the RLMT as it expired - they didn’t apply last month - it was rejected based on errors made - it was under review and didn’t go through on time It just clogs up the thread and no real...

Re: August 2018 restricted COS

21 points, from my reading of the Tier 2 guidance and the RCOS allocation guide from the Home Office, is the number given when the number of applicstions is less than the number of certificates available (so everyone in that month’s panel gets through) Given how high the demand has been for COS this...

Re: August 2018 restricted COS

A quick question, my company has applied for my RCOS 30pt. Still waiting for company to inform me what happened as it should be released now. Assuming it went below 30pt and I am able to get my COS. Does it matter that when I actully got to the visa centre to apply, the points went back up to 40pt?...

Re: August 2018 restricted COS

Hey Guys, It should go lower this month , July/August usually most of employees take leave so hiring is low this month for MNC. Secondly, Nurses and Doctors are out to it will definitely lower than 45 in any sense. Thirdly , Most of company freezes hiring in July - September (Q3) MNC atleast . Espe...

Re: August 2018 restricted COS

Guys here is my take Going by number of certificates allocated this month compared to last month (which had more than 500 extra) the cut off would be much higher. Also, the companies which had freezed applying forRCoS citing the high cut off, would now want to apply after seeing july cut off ,there ...

I have tier 5 visa now, have 30pts just applied this month and got refusal today... non sol, non phd, non nhs Why is your visa exp...

Re: July 2018 restricted COS

Finally some good news after 7 months !!! Is there any thread where ppl can connect to discuss, post COS, queries? You have the WHOLE Tier 2 (Employer Sponsored) Board in which to make your new topics & ask questions about the visa application. This thread is only for the RCOS allocation and if you...

Approved at 50 points, non-PhD, non-NHS, and non-SOL! It’s been 4 months! Good luck, everyone! Hi Vinchart! Congratulation! May I know how you will apply for your visa? Are you a direct hire from UK? I will also apply for a work visa, but I am confused with regards to the POEA procedures. Thank you...

Re: July 2018 restricted COS

Does someone have a list (or a link) of the number of unsuccesful applications in each band from say 30-40 from last month? I know someone posted the numbers from 41-45 earlier in the thread. It would be good to see to get an understanding of the chances for people getting through next month who ha...

Re: July 2018 restricted COS

Hi Guys, I have a question. I've been following this board from the last 4 months. I've applied twice to get RCoS, but both have been refused. I suppose I have 38 points. No NHS, No Phd, No shortlist occupation. So, my employer needs to re-do the RLMT. In this case, should I participate in the whol...

Re: July 2018 restricted COS

It doesn't happen like that, how would they pick which 45 points go through? It's either all of them go through or none at all.

Good luck everyone, will have a clearer picture of the points threshold next week hopefully.

Re: July 2018 restricted COS

People here are confusing the milkround with graduate schemes. The milkround is a recruitment scheme where the employer visits a minimum of 3 universities for recruitment purposes & complies with the other provisions as someone linked above Graduate schemes can be advertised anywhere & it doesn’t me...

Re: July 2018 restricted COS

But do we know how many doctors were rejected last month? Some will be counted in last month’s backlog

Given that this is probably my last attempt, I will be back after the allocation meeting and once some of those early ‘how many points do I have’ posts have tailed off

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

This thread has gone wildly off topic but the idea that the UK is too small to support migrants is a UKIP generated fallacy. Yes, the UK has dramatically less space than the US or Australia - it's a much smaller landmass. But the country is still able to support migrants, and indeed NEEDS them to fu...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

Good luck to everyone in July. Posters have said that there are 2000 certificates + 300 unused and the nurses and doctors could add 800+ as well as trim off the backlog of 45-50 points so hoping for the best. I don’t know if my employer will want to try in August when the backlog could start clearin...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

No, they won't. The only requirement is that they will have to do the RLMT. The allocation meeting will be on 11 July so they will not be in the count. 7.15. Changes are being made to exempt doctors and nurses from the Tier 2 (General) limit. This is in response to the particular shortages and press...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

I too thought it would be easy and up to November last year, it was. I used to think that finding a sponsoring employer was the worst bit and too hard to accomplish Anyway, it would be impractical to collapse June and July into one month and employers would have to be informed as it would effectivel...

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

There is no appeals process for Rcos rejections so the best course of action would be to get a lawyer’s advice about your salary and try again the next month, Melsieau

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

What about July? There is some indication that that doctors (some?) are out of the cap already, like the doctor who posted here who is not getting a CoS this month but receiving it in July instead

I’d like to know as it’s likely that my job might give up after July and I am on low thirties

Re: June 2018 Restricted COS

Yes, the exploratory memorandum to the rule changes says that ‘all doctors and nurses’ will be exempt from the cap. It’s not just SOC code doctors, the government has been heavily criticised for not having enough doctors of all specialties and not just shortage listed ones

Any one got approved cos with less than 50 points in this month please reply?
You have to be patient. People on this thread (me included) have been told that the home Office have informed employers of delays. It’s not even 9 am UK time.
