Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hi guys I have two questions regarding my situation. So background, I have been granted my visa by the HO in October after applying back in May, however I am still facing nightmares. 1) I moved to a different house 1 week before my visa was granted so I used the HO's address change to to inform them ...

UPDATE -

BRP received today 15/09/2020 without tracking number or email.

The photo on the BRP was from Biometric appointment not IDV app selfie.

Now on to Naturalisation application as my ILR was SET M . Good luck to me.

Good luck to all.
What company have they used to deliver your BRP?

Has anyone seen any application in July who's got the decision by now solely using IDV app (no in-person appointment)?
I don't think May applicants who used the app have received the decision yet let alone July.

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Hint: If someone who is eligible to apply and is planning to apply very soon in the next 2/3 days, I would say try to apply before 15th Sep. Previous pattern shows there might be a biometrics date cut off for applications made before 15th Sep. You may save some wasted time for biometrics turn in ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

Thanks @Luluokis29, @krishnakumarg, @Toxic and @Yash123 Given the evidence so far, the physical appointments does seem a little faster but it's also probably related to the complexity of the case. My case was very straightforward ILR Set O application with 5 year T2G working for the same company ...

My interpretation: There is no transparency in the overall system, it has been designed to protect their inefficiencies from all possible avenues. There is no accountability, and always the stance of deniability. Other than the money factor regarding: application fee, expedite fee, appointment fee ...

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

This is what I thought. Besides less and less countries use physical stamps on passports these days anyway. I think this full passport scan thing is just another bureaucratic step thrown into the process which contributes to a hostile immigration environment. Yup. Many Indian airports have started ...

@daenyt Well turns out I have to submit every page of my passport and not just the bio pages. Who knew? I never ever saw this on anything anywhere until last week. Upload all documents first. Sign out and sign in again. Submit button should appear then.
Check the end of the “document upload” page.
Are you sure this works even after I have submitted everything through the IDV app?

Re: **** COVID19 and UKVCAS Biometrics Appointments **** (ONLY discuss here)

In this case physical appointment is not necessary. You can just upload onto UKVCAS web portal on your computer, upload the missing docs, logout and log back in, and then click on a newly appeared "submit" button on the web portal. In fact, I did exactly that. After my messed-up photo submission in ...
