Yes mother and baby had to travel outside for emergency. Child has UK birth certificate and GP letters and stuff. but they say there is only one difference between settled and pre-settled stats which is you can stay outside from UK 2 years with pre-settled status and 5 years with settled status. if the settled status is free from immigration than pre-settled has the same right according to them.
