My sister is in same situation and to make it worse she applied for baby pre settled status she went outside the UK thinking baby will be granted pre settled status. I spoke to someone and i was told she could apply for depended child visa under human rights route. Did you find any solution to yours...

but they say there is only one difference between settled and pre-settled stats which is you can stay outside from UK 2 years with pre-settled status and 5 years with settled status. if the settled status is free from immigration than pre-settled has the same right according to them.

for them to work part time is not a problem that's why i was wondering if they could claim working tax credit and being dependent on us doesnt necessary mean they have to live with us so than housing question comes.
