Re: Limited company director/ self-employed - supporting documents

No. This documents checking service is a waste. UKVCAS staff just follow the checklist knowing very little/nil about the requirements. As long you upload your documents in any category you are okay. For you peace of mind, just upload the same file again in the “other” folder as advised, UKVCAS staf...

Re: Travelling after 30 June 2021 with BRP card Non EU partner

For some reason I though it was more vague, but truth be told, the advise on the link shared by @Bazinga_ above is quite clear and it says: If you have EU settled or pre-settled status you can continue to use your residence card until it expires. You do not need to apply for a new one. If you need ...

Travelling after 30 June 2021 with BRP card Non EU partner

I find very confusing information about what happens after 30 June 2021 to Non Eu BRP holders. I am from EU country (Poland) and have settled status. My husband is from South Africa and applied for Settled Status in February and had no approval since then. He falls under all criteria and he should e...

Booking FREE Biometrics Appointment - any luck lately?

Hi I submitted my AN application yesterday and have been on a look out for a free biometrics appointment over most of UK and it seems that there are no availabilities so far. The only available appointments are quite expensive - not many of these too. I have looked from yesterday evening, few times ...

Re: Limited company director/ self-employed - supporting documents

Thanks so much. I don't know what I would do without this forum. 1. Just before submission I went through the check list and found that I need to submit the certificate BUT I read AN guidelines and found that "tests taken on or after 6 April 2015, you do not need to supply any evidence of the Englis...

Re: Limited company director/ self-employed - supporting documents

I am just worried that waiting for the outcome of the application will be much longer because my biometrics appointment seems to be in 4-6 weeks at the earliest. I will submit my application today.
Is the application under consideration from the time of submission or from biometrics appointment?

Re: Limited company director/ self-employed - supporting documents

I am doing the AN application today and should I say that there is some special circumstances for me to become British citizen if I do not meet the statutory rights. This is one of the last questions on the application
I want to say NO as I know that I am meeting all the criteria.
Is that right?

Re: EU settlement - Non EU family member - CoA and decision time

Life in the UK test centre in Bristol

Hi everyone

I am having Life in the UK test booked next week and was wondering if anyone has recently been there.
I am worried about finding a car park nearby and the testing place itself. Is there far distance to walk from car park to the centre?

Thank you
