Will my visa get accepted for a part-time post?

Currently switching employers to a different career but the position is only being offered part time at 60% at 22 hours/week. At 22h/week the salary is £42k/year so I'm above the threshold. I'm currently on a Tier 2 (General) and will be eligible for ILR in Sept 2023. I don't believe my new occupati...

Tier 2 General application, IHS surcharge 0, advice?

My wife is currently a Tier 2 dependent on my visa. She is in the process of getting a Tier 2 General for herself. We put through her application last week and the IHS surcharge was 0. This seems wrong. We contacted UKVI who said someone will contact us if there is a pending payment. There has been ...

No National Insurance Number for Tier 2 dependent

Hi all,

Got both my BRP and my spouse's BRP.

My BRP had the NIN on the back bu my spouse's didn't on her Tier 2 dependent.

We have both paid IHS and gotten IHS reference numbers.

What is the next step?

I've tried calling to apply for a NIN but they never answer.

Tier 2 submission of documents issue!

Hey, Submitted my Tier 2 documents last week 09/08/18 and received an e-mail on 10/08/18 that application is being considered. However the issue I have is the VFS global centre staff refused to take the originals of my documents for both myself and my wife (Applying as Tier 2 dependent) and insisted...

Wrong IHS fee for tier 2 dependent??

Hey all, So I am the main applicant for a Tier 2 General Migrant (up to 3 years) with a 1 year period of work stated on CoS. That's what I entered for my IHS payment and they charged me $280 USD. Seems correct. Applied for my wife as well as a Tier 2 dependent General Partner (up to 3 years). Howeve...

Tier 2 dependent address

Hi, My wife is applying with me for a Tier 2 General Partner dependent visa. We have been married for a year and a half living together, and have a tenant agreement with both our names to show this. However, the permanent address on her application, as well as my application is our parents' addresse...

Tier 2 application form photo

Hi all,

I've submitted and printed my online application.

On the front page there is an area that looks like it might be for a passport sized photo, but no instructions to attach a passport sized photo or to carry one to the appointment.

Should I carry one or is this for use by the visa centre?

Re: Long appointment dates

Edit. Start date is August 20th and have 28 days from this date to arrive in the UK on the Tier 2 visa.

Appointment for document submission and interview is Sept 6th.

Would the employer be able to alter the start date for the CoS? (NHS)

I got refused at 50 points. Spouse still waiting to hear back, 50 points as well. Doesn't look promising.

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

I know a lot of people are concerned about their applications and rightly so, mine one is on Skill Shortage and even I haven't heard anything from my employer since my employer hasn't heard anything from the solicitors. This whole system is quite complex and baffling to be honest. What's your salar...

How do you calculate points for CoS?

Hey I've gone through a recruiter, application for CoS went in since late January. From an English speaking country and employer passed RLMT I believe. Salary is £32k basic but £48k with benefits and I have more than enough maintenance fees when I arrive. Not sure if Home Office uses the basic salar...
