Processing time starts from when you submit application. If for some reason they cannot give you a decision within the standard 8 week processing time they will email you.

Re: Document dates FLR M

The mandatory documents need to be signed once application is completed as that is when they become available to download.

So you can take your time to sign them. Its a shame instead of giving advice you are being spiteful and replying with negativity.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Been 8 and a half months now and still no reply or decision. MP has been flogged off with background checks excuse which everyone seems to be getting. Biometrics done 20/03/18 in Islamabad. Don't know how much longer this is going to take.

Maximum processing time allowed by Home Office

Another week gone in hope of reply but nothing. 8 months nearly since submitting biometrics (20.03.18) in islamabad but no sign of a decision. Is there any legal obligation on the home office to give a reply with a certain amount of time. Surely they cannot be allowed to mess with peoples lives like...

Re: Spouse visa app 24 weeks no decision :(

If you wouldnt mind saying under what circumstances related to 320 was your husband rejected?

Would you mind quoting from decision lefter or give a bit of background on his immigration history.

Would be appreciated.

Change of circumstances / waiting time

It has been 7 months of waiting for a decision with none in sight in the immediate future as it seems. Does anyone have any idea what amount the home office can take for the max time. Sureley they have some moral and principals when dealing with people's futures?? My main concern now is that I have ...

Re: Waiting decision on Settlement Visa longer than 120 working days

I am in a similar dilemma 135 working days and 5 escalations later we are still waiting. My husband did do voluntary return after overstaying visit visa. Howevever it states on gov website 100% settlement visas are resolved in 24 weeks. We both have surpassed that now Mps are no help. How long is th...

Standards of processing times

It has become evident that's processing times no longer have any customer standards so ukvi can take as long as they like. Could anyone else comment on their processing times if it has gone beyond 6 months as to why it has taken that long? What checks are being done or what information are they wait...

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

I have been waiting for over 5 months / 108 working days now. Biometrics done on 20th March! At my wits end really. Sheffield emailed 3 weeks ago saying they expedited it but still nothing. MP wont get involved till 6 months pass.

Re: UK Spouse Visa Refused - Reapply using Priority Service?

As far as i am aware the appendix 2 form gets sent with all documents to Sheffield. Are you sure you sent it. As it wouldnt make sense to submit it in Pakistan. All documents including appendix fm form get sent directly to sheffield office via the sponsor in the uk.

Re: Still waiting for a decision.....

Worst case scenario we wait 120 days / 6 months and then they really will need to pull their socks up. I've been emailing the email centre lately and surprisingly getting replies within one minute - emailed back and forth but it's literally useless automated replies ! Shows they have no idea and are...

I understand your frustration as i am in a similair position. Will be 90 days soon. They claim they have delays but are able to process some quickly at random. So just wanted to know if anyone can shed light on what these additional checks are exactly !
