Re: Citizenship granted but after a fee for ceremony

I received the same email today saying "We aim to process all applications within 6 months from the date submitted. However, in certain circumstances this target is not possible. Following our assessment of your case, unfortunately it appears your application will not be processed within the 6 month...

Re: ILR financial requirements

1 question please.
Payslip and bank statement match the salary received in one of the months, but on my HMRC account is different.
What should I do to rectifying that?
Thank you

Thanks for replying seagul.
If he starts a new job though without adding the income to our MIR would it be ok?

Re: ILR financial requirements

Thank you very much for your help I am sorry I insisted all this time. I know I am dumb but now I understand. I will have to have a new job that pays 750 minimum. full stop. My partner worked for 25 years in this country until he lost his job back in January and me started working on August 2017 unt...

Re: ILR financial requirements

There was another question I asked about topping up my income with savings could you please look into it. Thanks If it's not good enough than assume I start a new job on the 1st Nov. That will pay 750 would that be sufficient? In this case both of us would have earned 1550 on the day of application ...

Re: ILR financial requirements

And according to what you said, I quote" You can add £1400 into your wages without dividing by 2.5. therefore my wages of 11 months at 17380+1400=18780 without including my partner's income.
Why the Mir not met?

Re: ILR financial requirements

Fair enough. What would be the right calculation to come to a figure below the MIR using the 2 incomes I mentioned?
And, what would my partner or his employer do, for Oct&Nov pay, to make a sufficient MIR to combine it with my salary of course?
Thanks again

Re: ILR financial requirements

I am sorry but I am still puzzled. Bare with me please. Let's try this, after reading and re-reading the rules I came up with this calculations. Please check this for me. 1- My salary of 1580x11months÷12=1448 My partner's 1600÷12=133 Both salaries are 1448+133=1581x12=18900 2- My salary of 1580x5 mo...

Re: ILR financial requirements

Thanks a lot seagul for clarifying things for me. The only way out than as I understand it, is to find a new job starting 1st November with a minimum of £1220 pcm, at least for the month of November, to add it to my 11 month income of £17380 or a miracle from my employer to keep me for at least a mo...

Re: ILR financial requirements

How about if I disregard my partner salary and just add the £1400 savings to my £17380 income, wouldn't that be sufficient?
By the way would the furloughed September and October be counted as 100% of the salary? Or the use that only until 31 August?

Re: ILR financial requirements

How about the 2 months " Oct +Nov" my partner is going to earn in total of minimum £1600. can I add my income ( £1580x11= 17380) + my partner's income £1600 + £1400 savings, all this add up to £20380. The only hiccup here is me not working on the day of application but my partner will still be worki...

Re: ILR financial requirements

I am sorry I don't get it. Where would the case worker look for the lowest balance figure? The end of the month balance or throughout the month?
How do I add or calculate the £1400 you mentioned? Sorry for being dumb

Re: ILR financial requirements

I have calculated all 3 accounts, 2 mine and 1 joint. I looked at the balance at the end of every month since June, of the 3 accounts. Minimum amount was £17400 so far. My question is, does the key worker look at the balance of the end of the month or of every day balance for 6 months?

Re: ILR financial requirements

The day I loose my job is 31st October, too early to apply. Unless the case worker won't do his job properly it will definitely be obvious. And getting an employment letter that should say I am still working there a week or so earlier before the end of my redundancy will sound obvious too. Anyway I ...

Re: ILR financial requirements

I have received the letter with bad news I am afraid. On the other hand, ...

ILR financial requirements

Hi everyone I am applying for ilr on 1st December 2020. My husband lost his job January 2020 but fortunately I have been in this employment since August 2019. I am on a salary of £1580 a month. The bad news is I am losing my job at the end of September, means I will be short 2 months. How do I calcu...
