Re: Can someone travel to Pakistan with ILR and Pakistani ID card?

Pakistani ID card for overseas Pakistani citizens called NICOP allows the holder to enter Pakistan without passport, not the usual CNIC but even if he is allowed to enter Pakistan with NICOP, he would need the Pakistani passport to come back to the UK.

Re: Registering a UK born child as British Citizen using MN1 online form

Thanks Waseem, Can you share the sample of the Covering letter please? Best, Unfortunately, I can't seem to download the supporting evidence from the UKVAC website and also can't find the local copy but I used Chat GPT to write that letter. The format was pretty standard for a formal letter I expla...

Re: Registering a UK born child as British Citizen using MN1 online form

I think one of those two referees still has to be a "professional" like a doctor, teacher, etc., and the age requirement is 25 years. I had the exact same issue (as so many others have mentioned here on the board as most professionals aren't willing to share so much personal information like passpor...

Hi everyone, Seeking some advice on behalf of my sister and the following is a bit of background. Re: Referees for Registering Child as British Citizen

This happens quite often as the MN1 referee form requires a lot of information like passport number, email, and mobile number which many people aren't comfortable sharing (for obvious reasons). This is what I did quite recently as has been suggested here quite often. 1. Sent an email to GP practice ...

Re: Referee Declarations letter for MN1 application

Can you not use the standard form provided by the UKVI?

Or maybe I am missing something but I used this form to get the referee declaration for the MN1 form for my kids.

Re: Which month's bank statement and payslip to attach

July has not closed yet, so submit the last available bank statement - e.g. June - and the corresponding payslip. great. Thanks for that. I know it's unlikely to be an issue but just to put myself at ease, my monthly bank statement for June was issued on 7th July (after the application submission d...

Re: Letters from Employer

I believe (again my own letter as reference) that the letter just needs to mention the current salary and SOC code. As HO doesn't even require letters from the previous employers anymore (not valid in your wife's case anyway) so I highly doubt they need all the salary records and previous SOC codes....

Re: Letters from Employer

I don’t believe you need an extra letter to confirm the holidays. That can be confirmed in the same letter. The letter I got from our HR states the following. 1. Job title, SOC code, employment start date, salary. 2. Confirmation that there is no end date of employment and I am required for foreseea...

Re: Skilled Worker ILR Application - When to submit the application

Sure. I submitted my application early this week and my biometrics are booked on 18th if this month which is well within 28 days. Should have an update at end of the month but I don’t think it will be any problem.

Re: Short of 5 years

That 28 days minus 5 years guidance is pretty common. You can apply 28 days before first visa start date and can use priority/super priority service. I am planning to do exactly that myself next month. Infect I am going to submit my application, pay fees etc a couple Of weeks before 28 days and wil...
