Tier 2 dependent extension

Hi all, I need to apply for my wife's Tier 2 extension (i have recently received my ILR via 5 year Tier 2G route). She has been in the UK on Tier 2G dependent / partner visa from day 1 and will be eligible for ILR in 6 months time but her current Tier 2G leave to remain expires before that so hence ...

Can you sponsor parents once you have ILR?

Hi all, I'll be going for ILR shortly but wanted to know once ILR is granted, is there a provision in the immigration laws where one can apply for some sort of dependent residence visa for parents (aged 60 plus) who are living by themselves in another country but are dependent on the ILR holder? I k...

Re: T2 (G) --> ILR: online salary slips

But is it needed/a requirement? I ask because i have bank statements showing the same amount credited and bank statements are on bank's letter head supported by a cover letter confirming these statements are genuine.

T2 (G) --> ILR: online salary slips

Hi all, I have read in some of the posts on the forum where people attached an additional letter from employer confirming their online salary slips are 'genuine'. I may be wrong here but dont think this is an actual requirement for ILR (at least not for Tier 2 General candidates)? Just to be clear, ...

T2 Dependent ILR requirements

Hi guys, I am on T2 G visa and will be eligible for ILR in July 18. My wife is on T2 (G) and will be eligible for ILR in Dec 19 (i.e. that is when she will complete 5 years as T2 G dependent). My questions are: 1) What are the absence limits for T2 G dependents going for ILR? are these same as T2 G ...

Tier 2 dependent extension (while main applicant is going for ILR)

Hi all, I have a query. I am eligible for ILR in Aug 2018 on Tier 2 (G) basis. My wife, currently a Tier 2 dependent, has her Tier 2 dependent visa expiring in April 2019, however she would only complete her 5 years as Tier 2 (G) dependent in Dec 19. I have read on this forum that as Tier 2 dependen...

Re: Tier 2 Change of Employer and notice period

Can I apply for new VISA without informing my currency employer? In such case how would I serve notice period with the new VISA? Yes you can, no need to inform your employer until you get the new BRP in your hand . Check article 225 of Tier G guidance re your second query, the last sentence of that...

ILR Absence query

Hi guys, Apologies for hijacking this but think i have a relevant query. I have roughly 150 days of absences over 5 years (on Tier 2 G). During this period, i switched employers and therefore absences are splits across two employers. My current employer has given me the letter confirming my absences...

Re: Tier 2 (G) --> ILR - employment switch

Thanks both for sharing your thoughts. I have done a bit of research myself while i couldnt find much on this but i have found the text below in Tier 2 policy and based on this, at least in my situation, i am okay and was NOT in breach of Tier 2 conditions: Article 225 of Tier 2 policy (see link bel...
