Re: Switching to tier 2 visa from tier 4 within the UK with an expired passport

There is a big mess with South Africa diplomatic representation in the UK. I heard their website is down, calls are not answered... etc. I have read some articles about it. That means many South Africans are stuck with expired passports and unable to apply for anything. Because indeed, the Home Off...

Re: Switching to tier 2 visa from tier 4 within the UK with an expired passport

Hmmm how did you get a Tier 4 visa with your current passport in the first place? I thought the passport must be valid for at least 6 months more than the last day of your leave at the time of application. Experts of the forum probably know this better, but applying for a visa without a valid passp...

Switching to tier 2 visa from tier 4 within the UK with an expired passport

I am planning to switch from a tier 4 to tier 2 visa in the next two months from within the UK. Unofortunately, my South African passport has expired and due to COVID lockdowns I may not be able to renew this before I apply. Would I be able to apply with the expired passport or some other form of id...

Switch from tier 2 to tier 4 - BRP issue

I am currently working on a tier 2 visa. As my current tier 2 visa expires on 01/08/2019, I have applied for a tier 2 extension that will allow me to work up until the first week of September to allow me the extra income before I become a full time student. Once this application is successful, I wil...

Re: Tier 2 General visa | Edit details in Restricted COS

According to my HR a note in the 'sponsor note' section noting the change or incorrect detail usually suffices. In my case the 'gender' section states 'male' although I am female. All the sponsor did was add a note saying I am female not male. Didn't actually change the COS.

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

I am sorry to hear that. Clearly people's lives are being thrown in turmoil by this. No matter how bad one's situation is, there is always someone on this forum who is in an even worse position. I think I am unlucky at 45 as a first time applicant but I can't even imagine those at 40 trying for man...

May be his employer might have used different pay or some thing to get cos .....I am too wondering g how did this happen
As a doctor, with all his call allowances it is possible that his gross salary came to more than 50k and that would have put him at 50 points not 45.

Re: May 2018 Restricted COS

Hi, I am also applying via NHS. My employer sent 2 applications - one with my overtime salary included(45 points) and one with just base salary(36 points). My 36 points one got refused but still waiting to hear back on one with 45 points. Got some positive feedback from my potential employer. 55 Poi...
