Gosh, so many ads!

I had been away from this group for some time now..
On my recent return here, I find that a significant number of posts are just clever ploys to post ads.
E.g. this one: http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?t=33193

Must keep the admins quite busy... :D

Did you travel on your UK or Canada documents? I entered the US on my Canadian passport. Also had my UK passport with me, which I had to produce to prove my country of residence and that I would be able to return to the UK. In all my previous trips, the US immigration folks would look my Canadian p...

At the airport I was detained for close to 45 mins because the immigration authorities felt that my dual citizenship was "not normal"! I had to convince them that I was just on a short vi...

Are you sure? The Quality of Life index places UK at 19, above the countries you mentioned: http://nationranking.files.wordpress.com/2011/03/2011-qli2.png The question raised by OP may be more in terms of ease of migration. - US migration is linked to job - UK migration is getting harder by the day ...

In this case it is "does not allow dual citizenship".

See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Malaysian_nationality_law

"Any person holding Malaysian citizenship is also disallowed to hold any other country's citizenship. Malaysia does not allow dual citizenship."

Thanks for the info. Does one need to make a booking, or can you just turn up at the VFS office? And is it advisable to be there early in the morning? In what form should payment be made? Cash ok? 'Dual citizenship not allowed' means exactly what it says.
As an example, if a US citizen takes up German citizenship (Germany does not allow dual citizenship), then they will have to give up their US citizenship.
Hope that's clear.
